The basics

Does MedTality guarantee a hire or a job?
No. It shows who is ready for a role and why. Employers choose who to interview and hire; candidates choose where to apply.
Where do the standards come from?
Each one is built from the national certification frameworks for its role, names its sources, and is reviewed by clinicians. Every standard is public on Role standards.
Is AI making the decision?
No. Software scores spoken answers against the standard and shows its reasons. People make every hiring decision.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes, on iPhone, iPad and Android, with the same account as the web.

What does the assessment score?
Clinical skills, workflow and tools, patient communication, compliance and safety, and role knowledge. Never personality, appearance or background.
Can I practise first?
Yes. Practice is coached and only you see it. It is never scored for employers.
What happens if I do not pass?
Your scorecard names the gaps and a pathway of lessons, simulations and knowledge checks targets them. Most assessments allow three attempts, a day apart.

Can I see why a candidate got their verdict?
Yes. Every scorecard shows the score against the 70 bar, each dimension with feedback, and the reason whenever a pass was held back. See a sample scorecard.
Can my colleagues review candidates with me?
Yes. Invite them to your organization and they see the same shortlist and scorecards.
Can I credential the staff I already have?
Yes. Staff credentialing lets you pick the competencies that matter in your clinic and see who has earned your credential.

What is the Gold Standard Credential?
Proof that you passed the spoken assessment for a role against its published standard. You can add it once you pass.
How does someone check mine?
Share its code. Anyone can enter it at Verify a credential and see its title, whether it is valid, and its dates. Never your personal details.

Who sees my results?
Employers whose roles you match, while your profile is discoverable. You can turn that off in your profile at any time.
Can I get a copy of my data, or delete it?
Both, from Settings. An export link works for 7 days, and a deleted account is gone 30 days later. The steps are on Support.

What does it cost employers?
Employer Team is $299 a month for ten seats and ten open roles, with nothing charged per applicant or per hire. The details are on Pricing.
What does it cost candidates?
Taking the assessment is free. The Gold Standard Credential is a one-time $99, paid after you pass.
How do I pay?
Through Stripe checkout, so your card details never reach us.
